Hello.

We, at Eastside church of Christ, are members of the church that Jesus built (Matthew 16:18), adhering to the New Testament pattern (2 Timothy 1:13). We speak where the Bible speaks (1 Peter 4:11), and we are silent where the Bible is silent (1 Corinthians 4:6). Our Lord Jesus established His church in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). He is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23), which is overseen by qualified elders (1 Timothy 3:1-7) and served by qualified deacons (1 Timothy 3:8-13).

The Bible is the sole authority for its beliefs and practices (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and all other human creeds are rejected (Matthew 15:9).

The Lord's church worships in singing of hymns, praying to the Father, preaching the Word of God, partaking of the Lord's Supper, and giving to the Lord (1 Corinthians 14:15; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2).

God adds to His church those who have been saved (Acts 2:47) in obedience to the Gospel by hearing the Word of God (Acts 11:14), believing in Jesus (Acts 16:31), repenting of sins (2 Corinthians 7:10), confessing Jesus as the Son of God (Romans 10:10), and being baptized for the forgiveness of sins (1 Peter 3:21).
